Event: Pumpkin Splash 

Date: October 20, 2018

Time: From 1:00pm – 3:00pm

Event Description:
You are invited to bring your bathing suit and enjoy the Pumpkin Splash in Sedona.
The Sedona Community Pool will be home to pumpkins ready for the picking.

This is fun for all ages. There will be some classic activities and
some new games for children on the pool deck for playing and competing.
 

Cost/Admission: Everyone entering the pool facility, adults and children alike,
must pay a $5 admission fee. The fee of $5 includes a pumpkin to take home.

Event: Celebraciones De La Gente 

Date: October 20 2018 – Saturday
Time: 9:00am to 5:00pm

Event Description:
You can enjoy fine arts and unique crafts.
There will be Mariachi music, Folklorico and Aztec dancing,
colorful and elaborate ofrendas (altars),
and Day of the Dead inspired crafts for the children.

Event: Sedona Fall Arts & Crafts Show

Event Description:
– Homemade Goodies and Bake Sale –
This is a unique arts and crafts by talented local people.
Here you will find:
jewelry, ceramics, gourd art, fine art,
woodcarvings,
clothing & home decor, cards, stained glass
and glass art,
lotions & potions, gifts, and more.

This show is at the Sedona Heritage Museum is with a free admission.
This
show is an old-fashioned arts and crafts show. All items are hand-made.
The artist or craftsman sits behind each table to personally tell you how they
make their pieces and what inspires them.

Many of these people do only this show or a
very limited number of other shows making
their items
special and uncommon.

Event: The Lighting of 6,000 Luminarias – Festival of Lights 

Date: December 8, 2018

Time: from 3:00pm to 8:00pm

Event Description:
The Annual Festival of Lights this year includes a
schedule of wonderful musical entertainment.

For the children, there will be a visit from Santa. The event will have free cider.
The River of Life Tabernacle Choir will be performing.

At the tolling of the bell tower at 5:00pm, the lighting of 6,000 luminarias gets
underway in Tlaquepaque’s courtyards and walkways.
This grand tradition of the Festival of Lights began 45 years ago
and is a highly anticipated holiday event in Sedona.

Note: Specially designated luminarias to honor cancer survivors
can be purchased in Patio del Norte as well.

2019 Events

Event: Sedona International Film Festival25th Anniversary 

Date: February 23 – March 3, 2019

Event Description:
This is our 25th annual ‘Silver Anniversary’ which is from
February 23 – March 3, 2019.
The film festival will include the following: film shorts to features, and animations
to documentaries
, and student films to foreign films. This is an event
to attend and enjoy.

This 25th Sedona Film Festival is known by filmmakers and audiences as one of the
best film festivals in the United States of America. The festival was named as a
“Fest to
Impress” by Movie-Maker Magazine.

So, check out the filming opportunities and consider joining the filmmakers, celebrities, guests and film buffs in our festival.
